Students are encouraged to read at least 15- 20 minutes per night.
Students are expected to practice math facts at home or work on any math work sent home for 10 minutes per night. This may include but is not limited to addition, subtraction, and multiplication. You can find math links or suggestions for math apps under the learning links section on this site.
Spelling patterns for the week will be sent home on Mondays. We will be practicing in class, some whole group, some small group and some independent practice. Students may build the spelling practice/studying at home into his/her reading minutes. SpellingCity.com is a good resource for spelling practice.
